About the Yurt
The Nomad Yurt offers a unique Talkeetna lodging option with all the modern amenities. It features a cozy bohemian interior with Wifi, Roku TV, refrigerator, and coffee pot. The private shower and kitchen are just a few steps across the yard. Guests have shared access to the barrel sauna and full kitchen facilities. The yurt has one Queen bed and a double futon fold out pullout.
The yurt sits atop a sturdy wooden platform with a wrap-around deck. Inside, there is a small refrigerator, washing station and a small table with chairs. A few steps across the yard is the entrance to the private bathroom with shower and full kitchen.

Guests have shared access to the cedar barrel sauna, fire pit, octagon deck, bicycles and propane BBQ Grill. WiFi Internet access is available an no extra cost. The Nomad Yurt has Roku Television and telephone access.
As a popular destination for adventurous travelers, the Talkeetna area offers countless activities from flight-seeing, to river rafting and backpacking and fishing. Talkeetna Eastside cabins is located just a short walk from downtown, where travelers can take in what Talkeetna has to offer. Once you arrive, look for the binder on the table for information on activities in the Talkeetna area.

The yurt was really cool! We had a good night's rest there while we enjoyed the cute town of Talkeetna. East Side Cabins is a neat place, it's whimsical and creatively put together. Fun!
The yurt was awesome!! Very comfortable stay and a great and unique way to experience Talkeetna. Also appreciated the guidebook that tells you info about the area. Really close to the airport, too, in case you book an early flightseeing tour of Denali. One of my favorite places I've stayed in while in Alaska.
Very nice and cute place to stay. The host family is very friendly and helpful if you need help. Walking distance into town.
